Its been WAY to long...

I'm so sorry that its been so long since I've last posted anything. Life here in England can get pretty busy. :) Here are a bunch of pictures from over the last few months. In February Sam was gone for 2 weeks in the Canary Islands (for work of course) and so a few of the wives and I took a mini road trip down to Bath and Windsor Castle.

Heading into downtown Bath

A chapel in Bath

Bath was so pretty, it was just a shame that it was
such a typical overcast English day

Downtown Bath

The HUGE line to go down and see the Roman Baths

The famous restaurant right next to the Roman Baths..
We ate lunch there (although it was more like dinner by the time
we were seated and got our food) and it really wasn't all
that impressive, just really overpriced.

Looking down into one for the Baths from the
"Pump Room" Restaurant

Just another view from the restaurant

Sunset in downtown Bath...so beautiful! I definitely
want to go back and do some more exploring!!

Heading back to our cute little B&B after a fun day
exploring Bath and of course doing some shoppin ;)

The next stop on our mini road trip was Windsor Castle. I was so excited! I had heard such wonderful things about it and it was amazing!! I definitely want to go back!! The Queen wasn't there when we were, which kinda worked out because we got to see more rooms inside the castle since they didn't have to close them down for security reasons.

Walking up to the Castle...

About to go inside...

The chapel inside Windsor's walls...lots of important
people are buried in there.

Then a couple of weeks ago, Sam and I went up to explore another city in the UK, Birmingham. It is said to be the 2nd largest city in England, next to London of course. We spent the day walking around the city and seeing the sights. Birmingham is also said to have more water canals than Venice, which I thought was interesting. We had tea in one of the boats on the water...a fun little experience. And who knew Sam would become such a tea drinker while living in England. :) I guess when in Rome...

Walking along one of the Canals...the water was gross

The restaurant on water...where we had our tea break ;)

Awe..doesn't he look so excited to have his tea :)

Its a miracle! We have a picture of ourselves that isn't
taken by us. ;)

Then that night, we headed over to another town called Coventry to see a concert. In England, the radio consists of about 5 stations: talk radio (really boring), crazy rock/80s/weird music, classical, classical, and more classical. So we have become really big fans of classical music. And when we first moved here, Sam kept telling me about this song that he kept hearing on the radio of this pianist that he really liked. So I did a bit of research and found out who it was and bought one of his cds on itunes. Well long story short, we absolutely LOVE this guy. So I found out that this pianist, Ludovico Einaudi from Italy, was going to playing a couple of shows in and around England so i thought i'd surprise Sam and get some tickets to one of his shows. And his show was incredible!! I would encourage all of you to look him up on itunes, his music is so relaxing!

So excited to see Ludovico!!

The concert hall

Ludovico's piano ;)

I think I mentioned this already, but Sam was gone for a couple weeks in the Canary Islands, lucky duck. Here are a few of his pics. All I have to say is that i'm so glad he didn't come back with a tan...otherwise I would have been mad. :)

Well thats pretty much our life in a nutshell over the last couple months. Our life is going to get a bit more hectic starting next month though. Sam is going to be gone ALOT. :( So please keep us in your prayers...for sam safety while gone and for me not to get too lonely. But on a good note, we are going to Santorini Greece for our 2nd anniversary this June, which I am so stinkin excited about!! We also are planning on going over to Belgium for Easter weekend and hopefully throw another little trip in sometime between Sam's busy schedule. We hope everyone is doing well and thanks for keeping us in your prayers.
