So I know its been a long time since my last post, but my parents were in town for the last 2 weeks and we were just having too much fun to take anytime to post. :)
My parents arrived on a Sunday and so after we picked them up at the airport, we headed down to see Stonehenge (which none of us had ever seen before and it was the one thing my dad really wanted to see). To be honest, I didn't really expect much but it was actually pretty cool. As you drive there, you are out in the middle of farm land with nothing around and then you drive over this crest and then out in the middle of a random field are these big stones. It was kinda weird. So we parked and then got to walk around but they only let you get so close. Here's some pics:

Each day that they were here, we tried to do something fun. We went and tour/shopped and punted in Cambridge. Here's some pics:

We went to a town called Bury St. Edmunds and saw an Abbey and cathedral. We also of course went shopping. :) We then had lunch at a cute little tea house and then walked around the market. Here's some pics:

Then another day we went up to another town call Ely and saw a huge cathedral. This was also the day the sickness began...with me. :( But I was a trooper and didn't want mom and dad to lose a day of sight seeing, so we went to Ely anyways. Fever, smever. :)

But I guess going out and being sick isn't the best idea because then everyone else began to get sick. And so for a couple of days we just hung out at the house and rested up. We went out to a few local stores and the grocery store so that mom and dad could experience that. But really we just chilled at home.
Then on the first weekend of their visit, the four of us got on a train and headed up to Edinburgh Scotland. Here are a few pics:

The last weekend they were here, we hopped on another train and headed to London. By this time, Dad, Sam and I were all feeling much better but Mom was still pretty sick. So the first night we were in London we walked all around and say Parliment, Westminster Abbey, Eye of London, etc. Then we got ready and headed out for the most delicious dinner ever at Gaucho Grill, who makes the BEST steaks ever! And then it was show time...we went to see Mama Mia! It was spectacular! Mom and I really liked it! The boys, well, I think they enjoyed it but it wasn't their first choice. :) The second day Mom still wasn't feeling too good so she stayed in the hotel room for the day. So dad, sam and I went out exploring. We went to Buckingham Palace and watch the changing of the guard and then headed over to Madame Tussauds: Wax Museum. We didn't take too many pics since Sam and I had already been to London but here are a few:

So that pretty much sums up the visit with my fam. We had a great time. I miss them already! I can't wait til their next visit. Which was when again, dad and mom?? :)
