Today was spouse appreciation day on base and I got the chance to fly in a KC135 and watch the boys in F-15Es and F-15Cs refuel. It was pretty amazing! I can't believe how close they actually get to the plane. I have a new found respect for what my hubby does for a living. :) Enjoy the pics!
Inside the KC135...such comfy seats uh?!
England's Coastline...so pretty!
The guy who controls the "boom"
The "Boom"..aka the gas hose? gas line?
Anyways you get the point :)

Anyways, its me laying on my tummy watching the planes refuel

You can literally see the pilots facial features.
And if the pilots are really good (sam is working on getting there, hehe)
they will wave at you while they are getting gas
The Eagle peeling out
A couple of the F15Cs waiting for their turn to refuel
F-15C Eagle
(thats what my hubby flies...craziness)
KC135: the plane we rode in
(not as cool as the Eagles)
The little window that we looked out of to watch the boys refuel
